Our Approach

MaRS believes in a problem solving approach

We recognize that there are standardized research modules which are internationally applicable and we are in the process of introducing some of these in India from our network partners. At the same time we also hold that there are many areas where we need homegrown solutions for which we have developed our own research modules.

However in applying a research module, international or homegrown, our guiding principles are -

• Every research problem requires customized formulation
• Techniques and modules are means to address the research problem, not ends by themselves
